Answer: y = x + 6

Explanation:

For every unit moved right, the next point is one unit up. This gives us a slope of 1, which we can simplify to just x in the final equation.


(rise)/(run) =(1)/(1)=1

We see that the graph intersects the y-axis at (0, 6), giving us a y-intercept of + 6.

Lastly, we will write the equation.

y = x + 6

Try it without the 1. Usually we simplify as anything multiplied by 1 is itself.
