now, if we take a looksie at the denominators on all sides, hmmm 2 and 3, so we can get an LCD of 6, so let's multiply both sides by 6 to do away with the denominators.

4-\cfrac{x-2}{2}=x+\cfrac{1-2x}{3}\implies \stackrel{\textit{multiplying both sides by }\stackrel{LCD}{6}}{6\left( 4-\cfrac{x-2}{2} \right)~~ = ~~6\left( x+\cfrac{1-2x}{3} \right)} \\\\\\ 24-3(x-2)~~ = ~~6x+2(1-2x)\implies 24-3x+6~~ = ~~6x+2-4x \\\\\\ 30-3x=2x+2\implies 30=5x+2\implies 28=5x\implies \cfrac{28}{5}=x\implies 5(3)/(5)=x
