Explain why milk lasts longer in a fridge. (rather than left outside in room temperature).

i’m not sure if this is right but what i’ve been told is that milk grows bacteria when left out. if i am wrong i am sorry :)

the milk in refrigerator, lowers its temperature which affects the speed of lactic acid production, because microbes are less active at lower temperature
