Jamar's parents want him to do well. They insist that he take advanced classes and expect his grades to be excellent. If he gets less than an "A," they

get him a tutor. Jamar find this all to be very stressful, but he understands that his parents want him to succeed. Is their method likely to work well?

to an overall extent, and depending on the child, then yes. if Jamar considers both views of his parents and them wanting to see him succeed, then he will likely prosper. but considering the fact that his parents are stressing him exaggeratedly, he may lose focus on more important things and develop negative health effects such as anxiety and depression from all the expectations.
