HELP ASAP WILL GIVE 30 points. A toy box measures 4 ft by 3 ft by 2 ft. Explain whether increasing

the height by four times, from 2 ft to 8 ft, would increase the volume
by four times.

yes, it will increase the volume by four times.

2 x 3 x 4 = 24
8 x 3 x 4 = 96

(24 x 4 = 96)

If you think about it, you are essentially stacking four equal size boxes on top of each other, which combines is 4x the original box size.

lets say l = 4, w = 3, and h = 2

this would give us a volume of 24

now calculate the new volume: l x w x 4h

4 x 3 x (4 x 2) = 96 which is 4 times bigger than 24
