Answer:

6 nickels, 14 quarters

Explanation:

8 more quarters than nickels so 8*.25=2

3.8-2= 1.8

now there is an equal number of quarters and nickels

1 quarter + 1 nickel = .3

1.8/.3=6

so 6 nickels and 8+6= 14 quarter
