Answer: The amount of heat energy received at any location on the global is a direct effect of the sun angle on climate as the angle is in which sunlight strikes the earth which varies by location, time of day and season due to the Earth's orbit around the sun and Earth's rotation. Seasonal change is due to the angle of sunlight caused by the tilt of the earth's axis that results in warmer weather in summer than in winter.
