In the second step, they should have divided 32 by 4 instead of multiplying. Whatever you do to one side, you must do to the other, or the equation won’t be balanced. The correct answer is z = 8.

Error- while solving equations you are supposed to mirror things on both sides. For the second step the person divided on one side and timsed on the other making it wrong.

How to solve
4z= 32
Divide by 4 on each side
Z= 8

You Can than plug it back in to make sure

8(4)=32
32=32
This is true
