Answer:

r = 5 m

C = 31.415926535898 m

A = 78.54 m² /2 = 39.27 m²

r = radius

C = circumference

A = area

π = pi = 3.1415926535898

√ = square root

Answer:

464.47m²

Explanation:

π=3.14

r=radius

to get a circle's area u use the equation (πr²) and since it is a semicircle we divide that by 2 beacuse two semi circles make one circle so it is πr²/2

=(3.14*(17.2)²)/2

=464.4688

when rounded to the nearest hundredth it is

464.47m²
