The answer is 3 and 1

Explanation:

Given : 2x ^ 2 - 8x + 6 = 0

To Find: x

Solution:

2x ^ 2 - 8x + 6 = 0

2(x ^ 2 - 4x + 3) = 0

x ^ 2 - 4x + 3 = 0

x ^ 2 - x - 3x + 3 = 0

x(x - 1) - 3(x - 1) = 0

(x - 3)(x - 1) = 0

x - 3 = 0

x = 3

x - 1 = 0

x = 1

Thus the solution are 3 and 1
