What is the greatest common factor of 84 and 90

The greatest common factor is 6.

If we were to factor each number -

84 = 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 12, 14, 21, 28, 42, 84

90 = 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 15, 18, 30, 45, 90

You can see that the greatest in common in actually only 6
