The correct volume formula should be matched with each described figure as follows;

a prism with a height of x cm and a square base with side length of x cm ↔
V=x^3

a pyramid with a height of x cm and a square base with a side length of x cm ↔
V=(x^3)/(3)

a cylinder with a radius of x and height of cm ↔
V=\pi x^3

a cone with a radius of x cm and height of x cm ↔
V=(1)/(3)\pi x^3

In Mathematics and Geometry, the volume of a square prism can be calculated by using the following formula:

Volume of a square prism = base area × height

Volume of a square prism =
x^2 * x

Volume of a square prism =
x^3

Volume of a pyramid with square base = 1/3 × base area × height

Volume of a pyramid with square base =
(1)/(3) * x^2 * x

Volume of a pyramid with square base =
(x^3)/(3)

Volume of cylinder =
\pi r^2h

Volume of cylinder =
\pi x^2 * x

Volume of cylinder =
\pi x^3

Volume of cone =
(1)/(3) \pi r^2h

Volume of cone =
(1)/(3) \pi x^2 * x

Volume of cone =
(1)/(3) \pi x^3
