RE = 61

Explanation:

the sides of a square are congruent , then

SQ = QR , that is

6x - 5 = 2x + 39 ( subtract 2x from both sides )

4x - 5 = 39 ( add 5 to both sides )

4x = 44 ( divide both sides by 4 )

x = 11

then

QR = 2x + 39 = 2(11) + 39 = 22 + 39 = 61

RE = QR = 61
