50 liters

Explanation:

2.5 liters drained per minute x 2 minutes = 5 liters drained total

(2.5 x 2 = 5)

55 liters at the start - the 5 liters drained = 50 liters remaining

(55 - 5)

whole equation would be

55 - (2.5 x 2) = 50
