The answer is 134 tops!

Mark has 127, and Gil has 56. Gil is giving his tops away, to Mark and 7 other friends.

So you do the math:

Gil’s tops/Mark and 7 friends.

56/8- Don’t forget to count Mark too! 8 people total!

56/8=7.

You add 7 to the number of tops Mark has, because this is how much he gets.

127+7= 134

134 tops is your answer!

Hope this helps! Have a blessed day! :)

Answer: 134 tops

Explanation:

Gil originally had 56 tops, and he divides them evenly among Mark and 7 other friends, which means that Mark receives one-eighth (1/8) of the tops.

The number of tops that Mark receives can be calculated as follows:

1/8 * 56 tops = 7 tops

Therefore, Mark receives 7 tops from Gil. Mark originally had 127 tops, so adding the 7 tops he received from Gil gives:

127 tops + 7 tops = 134 tops

Therefore, Mark now has 134 tops.
