SSADM is a waterfall model, embedded in the so called Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), similar to the model developed by Kendall & Kendall. But SSADM focuses mainly on the feasibility, analysis and design stage of the SDLC. The specific stages of SSADM will be described in more detail within 3.3.
