The formula for the volume of a cylinder is:
V = π x r^2 x h, v being the volume, r being the radius and h being the height.

We already have the height, and a diameter of 15cm is equal to a radius of 7.5cm.

So if we put these numbers into the formula:
V = π x (7.5)^2 x 9
V = π x 56.25 x 9
V = π x 506.25
V = 1590.431280…
V = 1590
