Reflect on one of your past teachers. in his/her teaching has he/she been outcome-based or content-based? with which did he/she begin the lesson "today class our lesson is" or "after this lesson, class you should be able to" at the end of his/her lesson did he/she if the intended learning outcome was realized?

Answer:

I had a teacher in middle school that was very content-based. She would begin with the same monotonous statement of "Today we are going to learn... or "Today we are going to read..." and she would proceed to assign us a list of tasks that were challenging enough for us to leave her be for the rest of the class and mind our own business. She didn't show any enthusiasm about making sure we understood certain concepts, and she always graded randomly. Some students who didn't work hard would get an A and others who did would get a B.

Her method of teaching was, in my opinion wrong, since the students never caught a love for the class (it was English). Luckily for me, nothing a teacher could do would make me hate English, but sadly I can't say the same for others.
