Donna's fish tank has 15 liters of water in it. She plans to add 6 liters per minute until the tank has more than 75 liters. What are the possible numbers of minutes Donna could add water?

Explanation:

We have an inequality where we can set m for minutes. There is already 15 liters and we are planning to add 6 liters per minutes until greater than 75 liters, so set up the equation like so:

15 + 6m > 75

Subtract 15 from both sides.

6m > 60

Divide by 6m.

m > 10

The amount of minutes have to be greater than 10.
