1) Semicircle

The simplest way of doing this is to find the volume as if it was a circle and then divide that result by 2! (

  • (4)/(3) × 3.14 × 6³ = 904.32
  • 904.32 ÷ 2 = 452.16

2) Cone

To find the volume of the cone we need to apply the equation πr²
(h)/(3) (where h = height)

  • 3.14 × 6² ×
    (15)/(3) = 565.2

3) Add

  • 452.16 + 565.2 = 1017.36
  • 1017 rounding to the nearest whole number!
