let l and b be the sides

  • here l= 5m 30cm=5.30m

b=3m 20 cm=3.20m

  • Area of blackboard = l×b

= 5.30×3.20

=16.96m²

  • cost of painting per m² = 15 rs
  • cost of painting per 8.5m² = 16.96 × 15 =254.4 rs
