Explanation:


\sqrt{196 {x}^(3) {y}^(4){z}^(9) }= √(196) * \sqrt{ {x}^(3) } * \sqrt{ {y}^(4) } * \sqrt{ {z}^(9) } \\ √(196) = 14 \\ \sqrt{ {x}^(3) } = {x}^{ (3)/(2) } \\ \sqrt{ {y}^(4) } = {y}^(2) \\ \sqrt{ {z}^(9)} = {z}^{ (9)/(2) }

A fractional exponent is not necessarily simpler so just take out the 1st and 3rd parts of the term which simplify nicely:


\sqrt{196 {x}^(3) {y}^(4){z}^(9) } = 14 {y}^(2) \sqrt{ {x}^(3) {z}^(9) }
