Since tq is perpendicular to PR then qtsr becomes square

Then


qr = 30 \: \: \: \: \: and \: qt = 30 \\

Since the triangle pqt is right angled

Then


pq = qt \tan(50) = 30 * \tan(50 ) = 35.75

Then the height of the pole is equal to


pq + qr = 35.75 + 30 = 65.75
