y = 3x + 12

Explanation:

y = 3x - 5 (y = 3x +b)

Parallel lines have same slope.

m = 3; (-2 , 6)

y - y1 = m(x -x1)

y - 6 = 3(x -[-2])

y -6 = 3(x + 2)

y - 6 = 3x + 6

y = 3x + 6 + 6

y = 3x + 12
