In △QRS , point A is between points Q and R, point B is between points R and S, and AB¯¯¯¯¯∥QS¯¯¯¯¯ .

QA=23 cm , QR=41 cm , and RS=123 cm .

What is RB ? HURRY!!!!

Answer:

  • RB = 54 cm

Since AB and QS are parallel, the segment AB divides QR and SR proportionally.

  • QR/AR = SR/BR

As QR = QA + AR we get:

  • 41/(41 - 23) = 123/ RB
  • 41/18 = 123/RB
  • RB = 123*18/41
  • RB = 54
