Why is pH so important to maintain life?

A small change in pH in the ocean can be very harmful to sea life

Human blood is kept at a constant pH otherwise we would die

The pH of soil is very important for plant to be able to grown in it

I think they are right! When one of the answers is, all of the above, that is usually the correct answer. pH is important to all living things.
