The simplest form of the product between fractions is 1/12.

How to simplify the product?

Here we have the product between two fractions, first, remember how it works.

(a/b)x(c/d) = (a*c)/(b*d)

So we multiply the numerators and the denominators together.

Here we have:

5/12 x 1/5

Using that rule, we will get:

(5*1)/(12*5) = 5/60

Now we can divide both numerator and denominator by 5 to simplify the fraction, we will get:

5/5 = 1

60/5 = 12

Then:

5/60 = 1/12
