Story time, Jack wants to be a MLB player, He knows he has to work the hardest and is motivated, He makes a schedule/vision board/posters/, he starts out making progress but plagues and after 1 week of hitting the plateau in progress he starts for the first time to procrastinate, after 1 month of procrastination he gets scared of not being mlb so he goes back to his routine/training, this cycle of motivation/production goes up and down jack lacks consistency and might not achieve his goal because of this. Where did jack go wrong?

Final answer:

Jack's lack of consistency and giving in to procrastination were his main pitfalls. He needs to set realistic time-based goals and maintain his training routine even when facing obstacles or feeling unmotivated.

Step-by-step explanation:

The issue with Jack's approach to achieving his goal of becoming an MLB player is tied to his struggle with consistency and procrastination. Jack started off well by creating a schedule and a vision board to keep himself on track, but he hit a plateau and allowed procrastination to derail his progress. It's important to remember that setbacks are a natural part of any long-term endeavor and can be managed with a positive attitude, realistic goal setting, and timely actions. His cycle of fluctuating motivation may lead to not achieving his goal if not addressed. To combat this, Jack could benefit from reframing his mindset as suggested, setting more realistic time-based goals, and resuming his disciplined routine despite obstacles, much like Jarrett who, after facing challenges, proactively re-enrolled in college to set a good example for his daughter.
