Answer:

Length = 134.16yds, width = 25.8yds

Explanation:

Perimeter of the yard = 2(L+W)

L is the length

W is the width

If length is 5 yards more than 5 times the width, then;

L = 5W+5

Substitute

P = 2(5W+5+W)

P = 2(6W+5)

P = 12W+10

320 = 12W +10

12W = 320-10

12W = 310

W = 310/12

W = 25.8

Since L = 5W+5

L = 5(25.8)+5

L = 129.16+5

L = 134.16yds

Length = 134.16yds, width = 25.8yds
