35 POINTS !!!! Part A

An organism’s adaptations are specific to its native environment. An organism that lives in a coniferous forest will have different adaptations compared to an animal that lives in a tropical rain forest. The following graphs show the temperature and precipitation throughout the year for two different forests: a coniferous forest in Canada, and a tropical rain forest in Belize.

Evaluate the graphs, and then explain why plants from these two ecosystems will have different adaptations. In your answer, explain the survival challenges that plants face in these two environments.

Answer:

The plants in the coniferous forest are struggling to stay alive due to lack of sunlight and water. On the other hand, in the tropical rainforest, temperatures are sunny all throughout the year as it’s getting the warmth it needs. Additionally, there is lot more rain because in the tropical forest the rain doesn’t melt into snow. In conclusion, with the warm climate and the good amount of water, it’s the perfect condition for plants to thrive.

Hope this helps!!

Answer:

Ok so one graph shows the temperature it’s in the negative so the plant can’t survive all you have to say is the plant is struggling in the coniferous forest because of the climate there is not enough sun and not enough water the graph next to it shows the amount of water it’s getting and horizontally it’s showing the months and the plants progress the plant is barley surviving and will most likely die vs in the tropical rainforest as you can see the temperature is sunny all throughout the year it’s getting the warmth it needs and the graph next to it is again showing the amount of water it is receiving at first there’s not a lot but pushing more into spring and summer time going farther into colder whether there a lot more rain and because it’s a tropical forest the rain doesn’t turn into snow due with the warm climate it’s the perfect weather for the plant and it easily adapts to this weather because that is the natural environment plants need to grow no matter the plant they all need sun and water I hope that helped this is supposed to be a written out answer you can put it in your own words if you like or use it that way but I just did it and I got a 90% on the grade
