Answer:

5 nickels

10 dimes

5 quarters

Explanation:

n = number of nickels

d = number of dimes

q = number of quarters

q = n

d = 2n

0.05n + 0.10d + 0.25q = 2.50

substitute

0.05n + 0.10(2n) + 0.25(n) = 2.50

0.05n + 0.20d + 0.25n = 2.50

0.50n = 2.50

n = 5

d = 10

q = 5
