Two-dimensional distance is defined by the formula:

|p-q|, where p=point 2 and q=point 1

|(-6)-(-1)|

|-5| = 5

So, for part A., the answer is 5

Part B:

-1-(-6)

-1+6 = 5

-6-(-1)

-6+1 = -5

Part C:

|-1-(-6)|

|-1+6|

|5| = 5

|-6-(-1)|

|-6+1|

|-5| = 5
