Given the expression (5x + 4)(-6x + 1)

Expanding, we will have:

(5x + 4)(-6x + 1) = 5x(-6x) + 5x(1) + 4(-6x) + 4(1)

(5x + 4)(-6x + 1) = -30x^2 + 5x - 24x + 4

(5x + 4)(-6x + 1) =- 30x^2 - 19x + 4

Hence the equivalent quadratic equation is -30x^2 - 19x + 4
