In integers how to know if minus (-) 1 upon 2 is greater or minus (-) 1 is greater???​

By looking at the number line we can easily tell which integers are greater (larger) than a certain number and which are less (smaller) than the number. When two numbers are located on a number line, the number to the right is larger than the number to the left. –1 is less than –1/2 because it is to the left of –1/2.

1/2 is 0.5 so -1/2=-0.5

-0.5 is greater than -1
