The radio that has to be produced to break even is 425

How to solve for the break even amount

To get the amount of radios that has to be sold in order to break even we have to equate C(x) to R(x)

The values can be gotten from the graph that is attached

Such that

C(x) = 4250 + 27x

R(x) = 37x

Such that we would have

37x = 4250 + 27x

The next step is to subtract 27 x from both sides of the equation to isolate x

37x - 27x = 4250 + 27x - 27x

10x = 4250

Divide through the equation by 10

10x / 10 = 4250 / 10

x = 425

The radio that has to be produced to break even is 425
