tan 36 = opp /adj. opp is the height and adj is 14 ft

Height of bird nest

tan 36 = height / 14
14 tan 36 = height but this is height above Juans eyes....so we must add 5 ft to get to the true height above the ground

14 tan 36 +5 = height
