Answer:

$Area \: of \: rhombus =96\: cm^2$

Explanation:

$d_1= 2* 8 = 16\: cm$

$d_2= 2* 6 = 12\: cm$

$Area \: of \: rhombus =(1)/(2) d_1d_2$

$Area \: of \: rhombus =(1)/(2)* 16 * 12$

$Area \: of \: rhombus =8 * 12$

$Area \: of \: rhombus =96\: cm^2$
