what worked best for me is working in groups (meaning going top to bottom in columns of one all the way across the periodic table). the periodic table has 18 groups, and a majority of the elements in these groups have similar properties or chemical characteristics. learning these together will not only help you to memorize the periodic table but it can also help you with reactions. i also suggest printing out a periodic table, start memorizing the groups, and each day try to write as many of the elements as you can. you can also color the groups as well to help you associate the elements with group names. sorry this is a lot but i hope it helps! remember, it’s okay if you cant get them all right away, but practice will help!
