Animal Farm, a novel by George Orwell,
A story of rebellion and betrayal,
Of pigs and horses, dogs and cows,
All equal once, but then, oh how they fail.
The pigs, they seize the reins of power,
Corrupt and greedy, they rule with an iron fist,
While the other animals toil and cower,
Their dreams of freedom quickly dismissed.
But still, they hold on to their hope,
Remembering the days of old,
When all were equal and free to cope,
Before the pigs took control.
Yet their memories fade, and their strength wanes,
As the pigs grow fat on the fruits of their labor,
The other animals left to toil and strain,
Their dreams of freedom now just a faint rumor.
Animal Farm, a tale of oppression and regret,
A warning to all of the dangers of greed,
Where the strong exploit the weak, and forget,
The promise of equality and freedom they once decreed.
