I've gotten stuck w/ this one, (the t/6 is in a fraction form, t is over the 6)

To get t on its own we need to get rid of -3

The only way to do that is to add 3 to both sides of the equation. In maths what we do to one side we must do to the other

t/6-3+3=8+3

t/6=11

To solve for t we need to do the opposite of divide by 6

That is to multiply both sides by 6

6*(t/6)=11 x6

t=66 note the 6 divided by 6 gives 1 instead of saying 1t we say t

i could be wrong but i don’t think i am.

t/6-3=8
first you add 3 to both sides.
you get t/6=11
then you multiply both sides by 6.
so t=66
