Answer: no; y does not vary directly with x

Step-by-step explanation:

2 * 5 = 10

4 * 6 = 24

6 * 6 = 36

If the output of 2 were 12 then y = 6x would be the direct variation.

Another way of putting it is is how if a linear graph were to be made with these points a line would not cross through all points unless curved (non-linear) thus there is no direct variation.
