The required equation is : 6x - 4 = 4x + 7 .. Option B is correct.

Using the congruence principle :

  • HE = FE
  • GH = GF

6x - 4 = 4x + 7 ____(1)

24 = 24

Using (1) , we can solve for x :

6x - 4x = 7 + 4

2x = 11

x = 5.5

Hence, the required equation is : 6x - 4 = 4x + 7
