The distance from the ground to the top of the tree = h

Using Pythagoras rule :

Adjacent² = hypotenus² - opposite²

h² = 15² - 10²

h² = 225 - 100

h² = 125

h = Sqrt(125)

h = 11.18

h = 11.2 m to the nearest tenth
