The inequality sign flips when we divide both sides by a negative number.
To graph x < 2.5 we plot an open hole at 2.5 and then shade to the left
What this does is visually describe all values smaller than 2.5; the value 2.5 itself is NOT included in the shaded solution set. If we wanted to include 2.5, then we'd have to use "or equal to".
The open hole is used to exclude the endpoint.
