The value of (20/cos70) to one decimal place is 58.5

Trigonometric functions are functions that relate the sides of a right triangle and it's acute angle. Some of the functions are tan, cos sine e.t.c

The other functions are;

cot = 1/tan

sec = 1/cos

cosec = 1/sin

Except for the special angles that we can know their exact values other angles can be found by calculator or tables.

The value of cos 70 = 0.342

20/cos70 = 20/0.342

= 58.5( 1dp)

Therefore the value of 20/(cos70) to 1dp is 58.5
