The ordered pair (10, 6) is not a solution of the equation y = 2x - 5

How to determine if the ordered pair is a solution

From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation

y = 2x - 5

Also, we have

(10, 6)

This means that

x = 10 and y = 6

Substitute the known values into the equation

6 = 2 * 10 - 5

6 = 20 - 5

6 = 15

The above equation is false

Hence, the ordered pair is not a solution of the equation
