Answer:

(A) -4x^4+x^2+6

Explanation:

(-4x^4+6x^2+3) - (5x^2-3)

Since we have no other x^4 terms we leave -4x^4 alone

We have two x^2 terms so we subtract 6x^2 - 5x^2 to get x^2

Then our constants 3 and -3 giving us the equation 3 - (-3) the two negatives will cancel out leaving us with 3+3=6

This will give us the answer of -4x^4+x^2+6
