Answer:

In order to find the answer to this question, you need to divide 2,250 by 5.

2250 / 5 = 450 boxes

Hope this helps!

Explanation:

you really don't know how to do this ?

you understand the concept of equally splitting or distributing an initial amount into various parts ? the division ?

remember things like

a large pizza is cut into 12 slices.

the pizza is distributed equally to your group of friends. everybody gets 2 slices. how many friends are here with you ?

12 / 2 = 6

tells us that the pizza gets shared between 6 people.

and because you are also a person, it means you have 5 friends with you (in total 6 people).

or the other way around : you and 5 friends (6 people) are sharing the pizza equally. how many slices does everybody get ?

12 / 6 = 2

tells us that everybody gets 2 slices.

so, now for our problem with the plates and boxes we do the same thing :

every box gets 5 slices (sorry, plates).

how many boxes are needed ?

2250 / 5 = 450 boxes
