In one part of a kennel, 5/8 of the 24 dogs are male. In another part of the kennel, 4/5 of the 30 dogs are male.

In one part, the male dogs are

= 24 × 5 ÷ 8

= 15

In the another part, the male dogs are

= 30 × 4 ÷ 5
