(b_(1) + b_(2) )/(2) h. First find base one. The shape in the middle is a square, so the top side of the trapezoid will be worth 8 ft as well. Now add the two bases 8 + 20 to get 28 and then divide by 2 to get 14. Now multiply 14 by the height (8). 14 x 8 is 112 ft.
